some prayers are answered

When I was three years old, I heard my name called by an Unearthly Voice.

When I was 21, I prayed for proof of God's existence, and moments later, was nearly struck by lightning.

On Sunday, July 6th, 2008, I was filming a thunderstorm on my porch. I had left my tripod in the car, and was holding the camera by hand, hoping to catch a little thunder and lightning in the distance. I thought of that day long ago, and wondered to myself if God would be so kind as to arrange a little lightning for me.

I received my answer immediately, and caught the lightning strike - barely 4' from me - on video. 45 seconds in, left hand side of the frame. 

Some prayers are answered.
